The Philips 727K DVD Player is one of the best DVD players available.

The Philips 727K DVD player is a progressive scan DVD player which has excellent picture quality and is very easy to make region free.

The great thing about the Philips 727K DVD Player is that when you take the DVD's out of the player, they do not feel incredibly hot! In fact, when you take them out, even after hours of playing, they come out quite cold, nearly normal temperature. Unlike other players, where the DVD's feel very hot when they come out. Because of this, other players could skip frames as they overheat, and also the greater heat cannot be good for the DVD's themselves!

The Philips 727K DVD Player is highly recommended and endorsed by scottg26.com

Yesterday I tried the Progressive Scan on my Philips DVD 727K DVD player. It was using a projector and was connected using odd cables, but the quality was crap-tastic. Why? Well, with an NTSC DVD, there was horrible interlacing on high motion shots, or when characters moved etc. It made it unwatchable. Second, when watching a PAL DVD, there was next to no difference in quality. However, if you forget about Progressive Scan, the Philips DVD 727K still rocks!
