Snakes on a Plane: 10/10!!!!! This movie rocked! Humour, action, and sheer ridiculousness combine to create a movie that's fun to watch. Go watch it now.

Read more about it here.

Today's Random Picture: Dilmah Tea, artistically captured.

Recently I watched Batman Begins and Jaws 4 (Jaws: The Revenge).

Batman Begins: 10/10. An excellent movie.

Jaws 4: 0/10. A terrible movie. Filled with characters and their own little stories I couldn't give a shit about, a moronic "psychic" shark, which jumps around like a dolphin and explodes at the end as if it were filled with dynamite. This one even lacked the comedic value of Jaws 2, and to a lesser extent, Jaws 3 (which as pretty terrible as well).

Last weekend I purchased a new pillow! It's amazing the difference a good pillow can make to how well you sleep... If you have trouble going to sleep, go to the local store and buy the most expensive one there. As long as it's about $20NZD.

This week New Zealand got some new coins. The new ones looks ok, and weigh less than the old ones. I prefer the Kiwi design of the old 20 cent piece to the new one, however.

Here are some pictures:

I finished Baldur's Gate 2 some time ago and I'm now playing Titan Quest and Need for Speed Most Wanted. Both are really good games.

Tonight's Dinner: Garlic Mashed Potatoes!

All you need is some potatoes, peel them, chop them up, boil them for 20-25 minutes with 2 teaspoons of Crushed Garlic, drain the water, mash the potatoes while adding a few tablespoons of butter (or reduced calorie sandwich spread) and a little bit of milk, then serve with gravy (I used Bisto) and black pepper!

I've been watching Seinfeld season 1 and 2 and it is really funny. Best comedy ever!

Here is a funny ytmnd.

Trackmania Nations is a fun game, awesome for LAN's and also while having dinner!

Ever wondered how to create the ULTIMATE BURGER? Find out here...

Currently still playing through Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal. I've only got a few things left to do, but I had to quit earlier because a person you have to fight turns into a green dragon when they are about to die. Of course the dragon is stupidly hard and I couldn't be bothered...maybe soon though.

I bought a Ceramic Fan Heater, 1500w. At 1000w (low), it heats up the computer room quite well (Especially since the computer itself acts as a heater). And since it's only 1Kw it only costs 30 cents an hour to run (or whatever the current electricity price is.) Of course if it was left on 24/7 it would cost $216 a month...

Today's Random Picture: A broken glass in the sink. Don't ask. (I didn't...)

Polarized Sunglasses. They are great for blocking out the reflection of the dashboard on the windscreen, but produce a most peculiar phenomenon when you tilt them 90˚ and look at an LCD monitor. Observe...

Incredible...

Thanks to Wikipedia for the tip.

Since my car was stolen a week and a half ago I decided to buy a new one...

Mitsubishi Lancer ES SP 2.0L 2005. With 25,000km.

This one comes with a built in immobiliser so hopefully it will not be stolen...

We took 6 cars for a test drive over the weekend. They were:

Nissan Pulsar 1.6L Automatic: Nice inside and outside but no power at all. Even climbing to 50km(!) made the engine noise obscenely loud.

Nissan Primera 2.0L with CVT: Essentially the same as the car that got stolen, but with CVT. I thought it was time for a change from a Primera though and the CVT was a bit sluggish...

Mazda 6 2.3L Automatic: This car was very good to drive with lots of power and good handling. But it was slightly too big and would have used more petrol than I want to pay. I didn't like the radio and air conditioning control layout very much either.

Holden Astra 1.8L Automatic: This wasn't too bad. The engine was ok, but the inside was not as nice as the Primera. There was also quite a bit of road noise, and the car just wasn't quite as nice.

Nissan Primera 2.0L CVT (new shape/later model): This was a very nice car. The CVT was great and the handling was good too. The seats were very comfortable. But I couldn't see where the front of the car ended (at all) and the ridiculous idea of putting the speedometer in the centre of the car made sure that this one would not be bought.

Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0L Automatic: This car drove well, looked good, had low KM's, was last years model and had the right price. So after a test drive it was bought.

The new car handles far better than the old one, has a better turning circle, and smoother gear changes.

I have created another recipe for you to enjoy making!

How to make Poached Egs!

Combine it with this recipe here, and you will be cooking food worthy of Legend!

I finally installed Battlefield 2 and have been playing a few Single Player 'Instant Battles'. Flying the Helicopter is awesome, as is flying the F-15. However it is quite difficult to fly and actually kill stuff, so I don't want to join an online game just yet...

Last night I reached Chapter 6 in Baldur's Gate 2.

I went crazy and created some more YTMND's!

I can't believe it's not NEDM!

Fingerprints had one weakness...

Data, I've found something...

So far they haven't been doing too well :(

I swear they are hilarious though...

Here is a picture of Happy Cat for all of you to enjoy:

And also a picture of Raptor Jesus:

A fan heater... Should heat up my room in about 5 minutes:

New ytmnd! You're the man now... I KNOW! If you don't visit ytmnd everyday without fail you might not get it. This might help.

New Recipe added: Eggs with Hollandaise Sauce!

View my latest ytmnd here! Epic Space Battle! This one actually got votes!!! And some of them were for 5 stars!!!!!!!

Baldur's Gate 2 is progressing well. I've finished quite a few subquests now, and once I have finished most of them I will be able to start the next Chapter.

Enterprise has 5 episodes left before I finish Season 4 (and the series). I'll watch 3 tonight and the other two tomorrow...

World of Warcraft... The task of finding a group that wants to do UBRS and then actually finishes it is becoming tiresome...but I want my Magister's Robes...I need them... Then of course I will upgrade them to the Sorcerers set. And then I'll need to put +int enchants on everything. And then when the expansion comes out I'll throw it all away for some green items at level 65.

...

Some screenshots from World of Warcraft:

Best game ever...

The car has been fixed! It also passed 100000km today as well... Unfortunately I didn't have my camera in the car to record the moment.

Last night I found an incredible movie of Star Wars vs Star Trek... the Enterprise takes on Tie Fighters and a Star Destroyer! Download it from this page (the link is at the bottom, 'DivX'.)

I also watched Episode 10 of Pure Pwnage! BEST EPISODE EVER!!!! Funniest thing I've ever seen. Brilliant, etc etc. Download and watch it NOW.

Check out the latest YTMND's I made: Thank you Mr. Scott and Darth the Barbarian! Ok, so they kind of suck... maybe not the first one... the second one is pretty bad though... this one is much better.

In World of Warcraft I created a new Tauren Hunter, who is currently Level 19. I cannot wait to get Aspect of the Cheetah... My Mage still needs Magister's Robes from UBRS. Then I'll get to work on upgrading that to the Sorcerers set... +dmg FTW! Then I'll have to put +int enchants all over everything to get the int back that I will lose from going from Magister's to Sorcerer's. Maybe +22 int on my Argent Crusader....mmm...

20/02/2006: 7:32pm

I returned to my car this afternoon after work to find a large dent in the back of the car...

The boot still works, although it does not open by itself when you put the key in and turn it, you have to pull it up as well. Amazingly, it still locks!

The damage was caused by a Rubbish Truck. Today is rubbish day and apparently I parked too close to a rubbish bin on the road. (a mobile one, not a fixed one.) The arm that comes off the rubbish truck to pick up the rubbish bin hit the car, and then did some more damage on the way back up. Luckily, a person saw the incident and left a note on my windshield. The truck driver filled out a form, but didn't even leave a note.

World of Warcraft update: My Mage just needs to get Magister's Robes....but I'm not sure how many more runs of UBRS I can take...

And Ridge Racer on the PSP is awesome.

Today's Random Picture: Samples! (I tried the Nachos in a box today.... They were all right, but I wouldn't pay for them. I haven't decided if I'll put them in the shop yet...)
